Ohh, it's Monday!

Man, Monday's seem especially hard sometimes. This past weekend was pretty busy!
Friday night I volunteered at the DS monthly meeting. I played with the kids and helped keep an eye on them. Man, do kids know how to keep you feeling "young!" (Like I'm so old!)
Then, on Saturday night I babysat for a family that I knew from Alabama. They are in Destin on a work trip and wanted some free time, so, I helped 'em out. I didn't get home til late because I went and kept Mike busy while he was pulling an all-nighter at work.
So, luckily, Meme & Papa let me sleep in and skip church..Then about 12:30 me and Mike made a trip to Marianna, where we grew up, and hung out with an old childhood friend. It was good to see her! But, I wish that we could've seen more of our friends! But, it's ok.
So, needless to say, my weekend was pretty busy.
On another note..everyday..it's a struggle, a personal struggle. Sort of like an "addiction" as I've described it. I'm trying to take it day by day..but, it doesn't seem to be getting much easier. I wish I was like other people that can just wipe things out of their mind and not worry about it. Like it never existed!...But, that's not who I am.
So, another struggle I seem to be having is school. I'm just not enjoying school right now. When I was at AUM, I made a lot of great friends the last semester I was there.. It seems like at GCCC I just haven't met anyone yet. I mean, honestly, I'm going to school because I want my degree...but, a nice social life would be nice!!
